We now have a vacancy for a full time Band 3 Transport Administrator to work at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
The hours are 37.5hrs per week, 8am - 4pm, to be confirmed.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the secretarial and administration duties in the Transport Department.
Responsible for the recording of staff details and updating personal files.
Maintaining and carrying out general administration duties and support to the department.
Providing information and advice when dealing with enquires either in person, by telephone or electronically (email) on behalf of the Management Team and from cross site departments.
Provide general administrative support to the Transport Management Team through comprehensive use of all PC interfacing systems including Microsoft applications and word processing.
Schedule meetings, devise and distribute agendas, take, and type minutes and distribute to relevant members of staff, processing customer invoicing.
Point of contact for external and internal suppliers and services for new and existing products and communication to the relevant member of the management team
Take responsibility for the planning and prioritisation of own workload, using own initiative. Maintain the department filing system both in manual and electronic format.
Create and maintain personnel records ensuring all information is current and complete. Ensure departmental stationery is regularly reviewed and is in stock. Be a point of contact for the supplies department for any queries.
Receive, process, and distribute external and internal Trust mail, promptly and appropriately and deal with all ad-hoc issues that arise on a daily basis.
