My Car Import are the UK’s leading vehicle importer for private individuals and trade clients and are looking for a well organised and meticulous Freight Administrator to join our team.

Our office centres around the process of importing vehicles from overseas to the UK for our clients and completing the necessary testing and UK registration.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy administrative role. Previous freight experience is preferred although not essential as full training will be provided. We require a team member that is extremely well organised and efficient, who has the capability to self-manage their workload and is a highly effective planner.

We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, both with our clients and within our existing team.

Day to day tasks will include:

· Organising new client orders and planning their vehicles into container loads

· Booking clients vehicles with our worldwide shipping agents and liaising with clients during the initial phases of shipping arrangements

· Ensuring prompt loading of vehicles to our overseas agents

· Notifying clients of shipping progress and arrival updates

· Checking timely sailing of containers and obtaining the necessary shipping and customs documents

· Communicating with our customs department to ensure that efficient customs entries are made upon container arrivals

· Liaising with our accounts department to ensure local port charges are paid ahead of container arrivals

· Organising vehicle deliveries and container haulage to our facility

Package includes:

· Salary of £23,000 to £25,000, based on experience
