Mackay Marine Services Ltd are a leading survival / rescue craft SOLAS centre located in the heart of Aberdeen next to Union Square. Established in 1988, Mackay Marine are an accredited examination authority, operating throughout the UK and Offshore Energy Sectors offering specialist services in marine craft Inspection, Repair, Maintenance (IRM) and examination.
Our business is growing and so is the team, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant. The vacancy will consist of providing administrative support to the Engineering Director as well as the Senior Business Coordinator and Operations Co-ordinator in a variety of different tasks.
The candidate must be capable of quickly learning new tasks, work well with others and have an excellent attention to detail.
Administrative responsibilities include:
Responding to email, phone and other enquiries as first point of contact
Overseeing the organisation of documents and computer based information
Developing, reviewing and improving systems, policies and procedures
Dealing with customer enquiries
General administrative duties
The ideal candidate will be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to prioritise workload.
This is an office based position located at 6 Raik Road, Aberdeen, AB11 5QL.
Working hours 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.

Salary: £20,475.00-£22,000.00 per year
