Job description
Our company is seeking an efficient Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for managing a busy office environment and, as such, must have a strong work ethic, and a proclivity to follow detailed instructions. This is a fast-paced position that requires the successful candidate to be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents.
- Answer phones.
- Organize files and documents.
- Work with field supervisors to facilitate paperwork
- Work with Project Managers on contract submittals
- Data entry
- Communicating with vendors via phone and email
- Filing
- Perform task as directed
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Must pass a background check

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, filing is required and requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
