The Stock Control Assistant will come under our operating services division and offer valuable support to our managers and operatives.
Hours of work are 37.5 per week over 5 days, this is an office based role based within our Swindon office/Depot.
You will -
Provide first line support for Operators via phone and e-mail including actioning system transactions, checking transfers and stock takes and sending out supporting material by post.
Support investigation of stock results, including identifying and resolving errors and recording of results.
Action routine reporting to support the maintenance of accurate inventory.
Support appropriate actions being taken to maintain accurate cash records.
Works as part of the Business Control Team to deliver ad-hoc tasks as requested.
Skills Required -
Excellent Excel skills
Prepared and open to learn and develop skills within our internal operating system
Strong Numeracy skills
Attention to detail and determination to resolve issues.
Able to prioritise workload, showing flexibility to manage unplanned calls amongst scheduled work.
Good communication skills – both written and spoken.
Persistent in finding answers and help to resolve issues.
The willingness to understand the job role can change in direction meaning further development
