The Role
Overview
· Allocate stock to customer orders downloaded from company website / portal
· Purchase non-stocked items via suppliers’ portals, also via email
· Price negotiating; initially via e-mail, progressing to telephone negotiating once you have gained experience within the role
· Identify any stock issues or late deliveries – ensuring suppliers deliver on time for shipping deadlines
· Occasional filing and stock takes
The Candidate:
· Enthusiastic - must be keen and eager to learn
· Eye for detail is very important
· Strong communication skills - friendly and approachable, you will need to liaise with internal departments
· The right applicant will be well organised, able to prioritise and self motivated when required
· Computer literate – however full training and support given for use of our bespoke system
Working Environment
· Modern and spacious open-plan office and warehouse
Pay
· Very competitive rates of pay, £20,500- £24,000 a year
· Regular appraisals
The Hours
· Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm (with 30minute lunch break)
Holidays
· 33 days per year (including bank-holidays)
