Job description
As a General Administrator at JSP you will:
- Carry out reception duties, including answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments and dealing with queries
- Follow up on phone calls and contacts as appropriate
- Answer general emails and postal correspondence with customers and suppliers
- Order office supplies
- File and archive accurate records
- Contact suppliers
- Assist in organising and auditing the company's systems, databases, and procedures
- Provide administrative support for the Directors as needed
- Keep personnel files current
- Provide support for the accounts department
- Collate and present information for auditing purposes
- Organise and follow up on insurance issues including claims documentation
- Manage general admin duties within the Transport Department
Person specification:
- Prior office administration experience is essential
- Prior experience of the transport industry would be desired but not essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexible in your approach to the role

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £18,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
