Who we’re looking for
With a retail, hospitality or catering background, you will be experienced at supervisory or assistant manager level- ideally with knowledge of food health and safety- from a fast paced, customer- facing environment. You are in your element when inspiring a team, leading by example, rolling your sleeves up and helping out on the shop floor or making a coffee! With this approach, you’ll win the respect of staff at every level, getting the best from each individual and encouraging them to develop, to deliver outstanding success. You know that putting customers first is key to meeting targets and budgets, and you will be comfortable in delivering against challenging objectives & KPIs. If you’re drive is as high as the standards you’ll set, you’ll go far at WHSmith!
