Administrative Coordinator
Our client Based in the Wolverhampton area is looking to recruit an Administrative Coordinator to their growing team. This is an office based role connecting the sales team with the manufacturing side of the business. This is an office based role and training can be given so long as you have a good knowledge of Excel/ IT, strong work ethic and a professional telephone manor. The key element of this role will be looking after a set of customers and giving them updates on their orders. As well as ensuring a smooth process from start to finish and communicating any delays or issues as well as problem solving This is a permanent role in a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company. A well run and modern machining facility with opportunities to support in other areas of the business through training. Interesting and varied engineering projects and a great time to join.
Administrative Coordinator and Responsibilities
- Order entry both Domestic (UK clients) and Export clients
- Job building based on orders being processed.
- Place purchase orders on local suppliers following instruction against the order being processed
- Scan orders in the system and filing accordingly as our system structure
- Raise internal job cards, if required against individual orders
- Responsible for assisting the team support a number of customers with delivery and finish dates
- Communicate any delivery or manufacturing issues to customers
- Developing rapport and relationships with key customers and contacts.
- Ensuring customer requests are fully understood and resolved.
- To follow departmental systems, processes and procedures
- Handle customer issues professionally and escalate problems where necessary
- Facilitating the flow of materials between various parties and departments.
- Identifying critical shortages or manufacturing delays and sharing information with colleagues and customers
- Experience in Engineering, Logistics, Expediting is welcomed but not essential.
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook etc
Administrative Coordinator Salary and benefits
- Hours- 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
- Salary circa £20,000-£25,000 per annum
- Training/ System training
