The IPC Group is a building development company also dealing in insurance repair works across the South & South East on behalf of several national insurance companies.
We are looking for 4 dedicated and driven Administrative Assistants to join our expanding company in the insurance repair side of the business.
The job is extremely varied, and you will be expected to work as part of a team but also able to use your own initiative and work independently.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, with an 1/2 hour lunch break.
Pay range between £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
Bonus scheme for transition from probationary period to fixed term contract.
The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
Main Responsibilities:
· Booking in works with operatives and arranging start dates with customers
· Sending out work orders to operatives
· Dealing with calls & emails from customers, clients, policyholders, contractors, suppliers etc.
· Answering calls from customers, contractors, policyholders, insurance management companies, insurers etc.
· Chasing approval of existing claims
· Use of insurance companies’ systems to record customer contact & claim progress, track claims, & upload documents
· Use of Sharepoint
· General administration tasks, to include: - letter writing & form completion using word, maintaining excel spreadsheets, etc.
· Card Payment handling
· Compliance with GDPR, Data Protection & COVID-19 Guidelines
Key Skills:
· Proficient in the use of I.T.- able to competently use Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint & Outlook etc.
· Professional telephone manner, confident receiving and making telephone calls
· Confident dealing with customers as well as challenging customers
· Customer service skills
· Positive attitude towards staff members, customers, and contractors
· Teamwork- you will need to work closely with the management team, contractors, surveyors & the rest of the admin team
· Card Payment handling (training will be provided)
· Compliance with GDPR, Data Protection & COVID-19 Guidelines
Qualifications - Preferred:
Bachelor's degree, College Diploma or equivalent experience
Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
