Job description
As an administrative assistant your role will be to provide effective management of the operational elements within the hotel and to manage and assist the administrative operations of the hotel. You will process requests from the finance team and add to the smooth operation of our hotels.
Your day-to-day
- Dealing efficiently with day-to-day queries and guest service queries
- Take meeting bookings and confirm food service requirements
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
- Report anything considered a health and safety hazard
- Prevent abuse and/or destruction of hotel property
- Be flexible at all times in order to cover the unexpected needs of the Hotel and outlets
- Responsible for looking after Hotel property at all times
- Ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- To attend all relevant training as and when required
- To ensure that the company dress code is always adhered to
- Assist Hotel Manager and Guest Service Managers with administrative duties
- Assist with Meeting Broker enquires
- Assist with Group bookings and management thereof
- Managing A/R accounts and the issuing of invoices and statements
What we need from you
- Proven experience as a Hotel admin, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Must speak fluent English
- Other languages preferred
