We are BIG on supporting local! Handmade Saskatchewan is Regina's original handmade only vendor network. And now we've expanded into a retail location at Southland Mall in Regina. We have over 95 different local vendors in store. We have everything from homemade jams, fudge, and candies, to home decor, jewelry, and local authors' books. There's something in store for everyone and product changes DAILY.

We started as a community of artisans and crafters. Connecting Sask artisans & craft-makers with shoppers throughout the province! Shop handmade! Shop local!

About the position, obligations, conditions

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Administrative assistants perform a variety of administrative duties such as:

  • Answer phones and greet visitors;
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars;
  • Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings;
  • Collate and distribute mail;
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence;
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory;
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical;
  • Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping;
  • Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our boutique.

Administrative Assistants candidates need to have a range of interpersonal skills, technical skills, and industry knowledge to perform their duties efficiently, share accurate information and help their team meet goals in a timely manner. Some of the key skills required include:
