Receptionist & Administrator
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Colchester
Bouygues Energies & Services has recently been awarded a new contract to maintain a new University of Essex halls of residence recently built by our sister company ‘Bouygues UK’ in Colchester. To oversee this contract we need to recruit a new estates team and therefore we have an immediate need for a Receptionist & Administrator to work 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Activities:
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- To undertake receptionist and administration duties, which includes the greeting of visitors, assisting the building users, provide cover for the customer services reception / helpdesk as required.
- To receive students, visitors, staff and the general public and route them accordingly.
- To answer the telephone promptly and deal with all first line enquiries whilst maintaining logs of messages and the arrival of visitors
- To undertake all administrative duties including filing, typing, placing orders, managing Maximo and other general administrative duties
- To prepare and issue visitors passes and maintain records in accordance with procedures of the University
- To ensure that the reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Will have prior reception experience
- Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task
- Will have first class interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at many different levels
- Must have good computer skills, proficient in using Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Experience in using an FM system (Maximo etc.) is desirable
- Must be flexible, reliable and motivated
