FAB Administrative Assistant/Data Clerk Job Posting

Title: Administrative Assistant/Data Clerk
Role: Support FAB’s Director of Operations and Treasurer with the operations of a nonprofit membership-based organization.

About Funding Arts Broward (FAB)

Funding Arts Broward, (FAB) is a non-profit volunteer-based organization committed to preserving and cultivating the arts in Broward County, Florida. FAB’s mission is to support, sustain, and enrich the arts in our community. Since its inception in 2003, the organization has granted $4.8 million to the local arts community.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry – manage and maintain donor records, donations, and produce reports for Committee Chairs.
  • Donor Services – Enroll new members, prepare, and send welcome packets, process and mail renewal invoices and donation acknowledgments.
  • Bookkeeping- Process all checks received, track event payments via check, Zelle and Paypal, track and report event budgets, enter payment information for grantees.
  • Clerical Support – maintain calendars for meetings using Outlook, manage correspondence (email, mail, etc.,) answer phones, order supplies, assist with mailings, copies, uploading calendars, and event images to website. Also assist with projects when necessary.
  • Event Services- assist members with registration, track RSVP’s, onsite registration on the day of the event, and assist with the setting up events and breaking down events.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • 2- 5 years of administrative/ data entry experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful.
  • Experience creating and producing database reports is helpful.
  • Social media is helpful.

Full time position up to 40 hours per week. Schedule is flexible on event days.
Workspace provided on site.

Salary Range: $20 per hour depending on experience.
