Office Assistant

Absolute Services Intl services are a growing, fast-paced, and friendly owned business. We are looking for an Office Assistant to help with the administrative and clerical functions at one of our clients office. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Scanning documents into our record system.
  • Meet and greet potential clients.
  • Joining in at network events.
  • Keeping track of all incoming calls
  • Keeping track of all paperwork for quotations to be made.
  • Staying professional at all times.
  • Maintain security information withing the office.
  • Communicate with clients in a prefessional manner.
  • Communicate with other departments to relay messages from time to time.
  • Communicate with other departments.
  • Communicate with staff members when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager or secretary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • West Bromwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
