Job description
SCP, an RSK Company, is looking for a Graduate Transport Planner to join their team of a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based in Leeds and you will be joining a growing team, who cares greatly about the development, training and diversity of their growing workforce. This position could also be based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to senior staff
- Liaison with the client and project teams
- Assistance in the preparation of technical reports to support planning applications
- Undertake traffic flow analysis and junction modelling
Person Specification
- Relevant degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering or other related transport planning discipline
- Understanding of planning and transport policy as applied to development proposals
- Knowledge of the relevant highway standards, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual for Streets
- Aspire to work towards professional qualifications
- Strong analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and Power Point
Salary and Benefits
- £20,000 - £25,000
