Job summary
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties including the role of front of house reception and administrative support to the practice. Duties and primary responsibilities can include but may not be limited to:
- Assist in general office duties as required and directed by the Administration Manager.
- Maintain and update computerised client records.
- Scanning accounts, correspondence and post.
- Provide administrative support for the partners.
- Filing and retrieving paperwork.
- To answer telephone queries. Taking messages and passing on information.
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from clients, other team members and associated agencies.
- Attend staff meetings and training events in accordance with personal and practice development plans.
- Comply with confidentiality and health and safety regulations.
- Before going on a planned absence – leave work tidy and ready for incoming colleagues together with information regarding unresolved or urgent problems.
- Process requests for information i.e., H.M. Revenue & Customs forms.
Data entry of new clients and relevant client information.
Pay dependent on age and experience.
