Job description
Purpose
The Accounting Administrative is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department, sales & store staff, as well as customers. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Essential Duties
Complete daily cash reconciliations for all branches and review for accuracy and completeness. Maintain a schedule of cash overages and shortages for all branches on a daily basis.
Work with sales and store staff to resolve overages and shortages.
Communicate results to branch managers on a monthly basis.
Maintain a filing system for all bank statements and all cancelled checks, credit cards & American express statements.
Provide accounting support to sales, store staff, and customers regarding payment and invoice verification
Handle all chargeback inquiries for disputed credit card transactions. Research and communicate with internal staff and credit card companies to resolve.
