The Role and Department


Durham University Business School, one of the longest-established business schools in the UK, is a multi-disciplinary School characterised by academic excellence, internationally-rated research and superb student support services. The purposes of the role are to provide effective, efficient and timely administrative support to the Learning & Teaching team; help to ensure that the right people are in the right place and at the right time; provide the first point of contact for enquiries about development, learning and organisation development and triaging the enquiry to the appropriate person.

What you need to demonstrate when you apply

Typical Role Requirements

Here are the kind of activities that you’ll be asked to undertake and ways in which you’ll be expected to operate.

Specific Role Requirements

  • In order to fulfil the terms and conditions of the apprenticeship, the post-holder will be required to complete training on a weekly basis towards the Advanced Apprentice Framework in Business Administration at Level 3.

The post-holder will be required to complete the English and Maths functional skills as part of their apprenticeship qualification if they do not hold a GCSE Grade 4 / C or above in English and Maths.
