Are you looking to make a change in 2022? Brighton Fertility Associates (BFA) is a small and friendly centre located on the lively and sunny south coast in Hove. We are expanding our administration team and are looking for an Administrative Assistant with either experience or some training, who is meticulous and can adapt to the many challenges of a busy unit.
The Company is expanding with its partner, the Seattle Sperm Bank, and has exciting new ventures being planned so this is a great opportunity to be involved in rewarding work.
The post is full time (40hrs per week) although part –time positions will be considered. The successful candidate will be required to participate in a rota which will contain occasional evening and weekend working to facilitate donors and patients.
The duties are varied from secretarial to auditing. Working hours may be varied according to need and the clinic offers extending opening hours and weekend availability.
Key responsibilities of this role include: (but not limited to)
· Daily telephone calls- taking messages
· Receiving donors and making appointments
· Auditing
· Donor information wallets and back up of information
· Witnessing procedures for the laboratory staff where required.
· Chaperone for Phlebotomy as required
· Preparation for phlebotomy sessions
· Stock checks and Stock maintenance
· Maintaining the filing system suitable records for each donor and patient
· Annual update of TPA’s with suppliers/ service providers and Clinics
· Maintaining the filing system
A competitive salary according to experience will be offered with a three month probationary period for the contract. BFA actively encourages and supports all staff with their CPD with provision of training courses. Expansion of the role will be encouraged for those with existing training.
