An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional Administration Assistant !
We are a community based service working across the Black Country therefore we are looking for someone who is flexible, friendly and willing to support with a multitude of tasks that will enhance the clinical practice of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST).
Main duties of the job:
As part of this very busy team you will provide an efficient, effective, professional and confidential service to our large team of clinicians, our service users and their families and other professionals particularly those based within educational settings. The role will encompass dealing with families and professionals therefore you will require excellent communication skills. You will provide direct support to the MHST leadership team when required as well as to the co-production lead who at times may require additional input with the arrangement of groups and virtual sessions.
Additional duties will include: Planning of team events
Maintenance of training databases
Inputting of MHST data activity to the RIO system
Maintenance of stock control, order stationery and supplies
You will work closely with other administrative staff to ensure continuity of administration support and mutual assistance within the Service. It will be expected that the post holder will be able to think on their feet, provide flexible cover for service opening hours and able to cover times of absence such a holidays etc.The work will be demanding and varied and you will be required to have excellent demonstrable administrative skills, be confident and assertive and be able to work autonomously using your own initiative.

Person specification:
Essential criteria:
NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience
Excellent IT skills
Experience of maintaining databases
Desirable criteria:
Experience of providing administration support to a team.
Experience of co-ordinating meetings involving staff from internal and external agencies
