Position Summary
This position supports the Director of Strategic Partnerships by providing a variety of administrative and clerical support services in a confidential and professional manner. In addition, supporting the department through internal and external communication, project support, and some customer service/relations are key to the success of the role. Requiring competency in technology, research, and working with others, this is a great opportunity to serve the mission of ACSI by providing vital support to the Director.
This is a part-time remote position working 12 hours per week. Work will be performed from a home office anywhere in the Continental US.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with the Director of Strategic Partnerships to create better systems of management for the Strategic Partners program including the management of a Prospectus calendar
- Assist in the communication with Strategic Partners and ensure credits are being utilized
- Assist in Strategic Partner activities, including managing the details for exhibitors, fulfilling credit benefits like sharing webinars, emailing the network, and other related duties
- Provide ongoing administrative support for partners throughout the year
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events
- Coordinate and maintain Development Team travel schedule, meetings, visits, and appointments, and track other department personnel schedules
- Monitor and report on important matters to the Development Team, as designated by the Vice President
- Work closely with other departments to track social media progress, promote the ACSI brand, and assist marketing efforts
- Assist the Vice President on budget items through basic accounting duties
- Maintain inventory and enable distribution of supplies and materials as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Rate: $17.36 - $21.96 per hour; based on work experience, education, training, knowledge, skills, and internal and external equity.
Part-time employees working 12 hours per week may participate in our 403b retirement plan and receive sick leave benefits.

Required Experience and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of administrative experience
- Two or more years of experience working in development and fundraising preferred
- Strong communication skills, especially written, with good command of grammar and editing
- Computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including word processing, financial reporting software, database/spreadsheet software, and publishing software) and Adobe
- Ability to use additional software applications related to conference scheduling and updating the department’s portion of the website
- Strong technology and internet research skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of ACSI internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Disciplined time management skills, flexibility
- Integrity in dealing with confidential information
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Professional remote work environment in which to conduct videoconferences and phone calls
- Ability and willingness to travel up to three times per year for one to three days for event support
- Driver’s License required to be kept current and in effect as a condition of employment
- Employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear
- Essential duties require the use of computers to process information
- The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read at close range and distinguish colors and contrasts
- The noise level in the work environment is usually minima
- Able to lift and move boxes, files, and deliveries up to 30 pounds
- Able to manage a sales booth at events for up to 10 hours, sitting and standing
