We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Contracts and Tender Administrator to join our Contracts and Legal team.
The Group Contracts and Tender Administrator opportunity will receive training and supervision from the Contracts and Legal Team, enabling you to develop and provide support to operational teams by preparing and reviewing tender and contract terms (relating to consultancy and contracting work), undertaking the formal contract review process, and supporting the negotiation of related contracts.


What you will be doing.


As our Group Contracts & Tender Administrator, you will be maintaining, supporting, and assisting the development of the contracts and tender management function across the Group with a focus on minimizing risk and maximizing value to the company.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Providing contract review support and advice to operational and/or functional groups.
  • Promoting a culture of contractual and legal compliance awareness across ABL.
  • Conducting reviews of clients’ terms and conditions (following ABL’s contract review procedure) and assisting with other contract and bid requirements.
  • Liaising with colleagues in the Contract and Legal Team on legal/insurance matters.
  • Active involvement in pre-award/tender negotiations.
  • Client-facing contract negotiation.
  • Finalising terms and conditions for the main contract and expediting contract signature.
  • Administering and overseeing contract amendments and management and the relevant status (whether rejected, accepted, under discussion, or disputed).
  • Assisting the Contracts and Legal Team with maintaining the register of all contracts awarded across ABL.
  • Developing strong and effective relationships with internal and external clients and various support functions within ABL.
The role is based in London, and the candidate will have the right to live and work in the UK. Flexibility to working hours is expected.


What we are looking for.


An ideal candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and change management skills and have a keen interest in understanding and implementing ABL’s contract review procedure. In addition, you
  • Will have 1-2 years of experience with contracts and contract management review
  • Should have a strong ability to manage own performance
  • Focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload
  • Producing high-quality results in demanding timeframes.
  • Must be well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
