- Full Time, 37 hours per week (8.45am - 5pm, Monday - Friday)

What we are looking for
We are looking for an Admin and Technical Support Officer to join our team in Waste Services and share our values, commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities.
About the role
As part of the councils’ Waste Services team, the role will involve both administration and customer service duties.
You will be responsible for responding to a wide variety of waste-related enquiries via phone, email and in person.
The position also involves general office duties and data entry, including processing requests and payments for services using our specialist systems.
About you
You would be required to demonstrate:
- excellent customer service skills in order to resolve queries and complaints at first point of contact
- the ability to successfully communicate with a wide range of customers via phone, email and in person
- have the confidence and diplomacy required to relay difficult or sensitive information to customers
- accurate data entry, with good attention to detail
- the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads, in order to cope with unexpected high demand
- good telephone and IT skills, with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- experience of working in a customer-orientated service is desirable.
