12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity
Hackney Council is looking for someone to help support our Building Maintenance Team, working within Housing Service.
As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide admin support to the Reactive Repair and Void Team. Your work will include maintaining filing, updating our databases, managing the office diary, attending meetings and general office duties.
We are looking for someone who is methodical and accurate in their work, able to prepare written work and undertake calculations. You should be able to use a variety of IT packages, be able to prioritise your workload and use your initiative. Above all, we need someone with a customer service focus.
To thrive in this role, you must have a flexible attitude and be a quick learner. This role would suit someone keen to broaden their experience in administration as there will be some project work available. Someone who understands the basics of business management, as well as the principles of local government.
