The Administration Assistant helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by providing general administrative support to all teams within the Supporter Care Department to ensure Service Level Agreements are met and an excellent level of customer service is provided.


This role will be based on site at our Reading office, working closely with the Fundraising team. You’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Candidate profile

To be able to fulfil this role, the skills and experience we are looking for in a potential candidate include;


Essential


  • English and Maths qualification to GCSE at grade C or equivalent (QCF level 2 / SQCF level 5).
  • Experience in administration within a Customer Service environment with working to SLAs.
  • Experience in administration within a Customer Service environment.
  • Knowledge of Gift Aid and Data Protection.
  • External database systems such as Salesforce.
  • Confident telephone manner showing patience, empathy and listening skills.
  • The ability to deal with more difficult conversations in a calm and non-judgemental way.

  • Have worked in a similar environment
