Job description
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Medical Management team, Medical Secretaries and Consultants in Medical Division, working on your own initiative using knowledge, skills and experience to manage and prioritise workload independently in accordance with operational standards and protocols. The main aspect of the role will be assisting Medical teams with administrative functions. Proficient audio transcription and minute taking To liaise with external and internal departments involved in providing care and core services to the team To maintain efficient tracking of medical notes within the office on MAXIMS. To maintain an appropriate filing system in the patients’ records to Health Records procedures. To ensure that worklists and appointments are actioned on MAXIMS. To undertake any other duties, required by the, Deputy General Manager, Admin Lead, secretaries and clinical staff, appropriate to the grade and relevant to the post. To assist the Medical Secretary with validation and updating patient tracking list. Ensure all patients’ investigation reports are reviewed, shown to the Consultant or other member of the team, as appropriate.
