What your day will look like
Working within our dedicated and busy administrative team you will be supporting a variety of administration duties such as photocopying, responding to enquiries, scanning documentations, working alongside our front-line staff supporting management and other employees with administrative duties and queries. You will also be responsible for management of telephone calls and redirecting any queries to the relevant person/department and representing Sense Scotland as a first point of contact as and when required, this may include meeting and greeting visitors and internal and external stakeholders. A key part of the role will be to manage any assigned administrative tasks effectively and ensure you meet to deadlines. This is a full time permanent position offering 37 hours per week Monday - Friday based in the office with very occasional weekends when required.
Skills and desired experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
- Able to work effectively with other staff and prioritise workloads
- Bring a positive attitude and friendly nature
- Competent in using various IT system such as Microsoft, Excel and Teams
- Knowledge and experience of using scanned systems and other electronic administrative equipment.
