National Centre for Domestic Violence is a non-for profit organisation that specialises in helping victims of Domestic Abuse and Domestic Violence obtain injunctions against their perpetrators.
Once an injunction has been approved by the courts, our Process Serving team will issue these documents to the respondent.
We now an opening in our team for an Administration Assistant, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, good eye for detail and able to manage multiple tasks at any one time along with having fantastic communication skills both verbal and written.
Your role will include:
- Obtaining copies of documents from court
- Arranging for the local field Servers to serve papers on respondents
- Dealing with requests and queries from police, solicitors and applicants
- Keeping multiple systems up to date
- Dealing with all enquiries in to the office
- Making sure emails are dealt with in a timely manner
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
- Good level of literacy
- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative position
- Computer literacy – Word / Outlook / Excel and ability to use a range of databases once trained
- Accurate typing skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to manage own time to deal with multiple tasks
- Able to work as part of a team and alone
- Ability to be discreet, confidential and reliable
The role will be initially based in our Guildford office and once fully trained this role can be hybrid.
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
Salary: £21,500
