About the role
Following sustained business growth, Kigtek have an exciting opportunity for an Administration
Assistant to join the team.
The role is expected to develop and grow in line with the business needs and will involve supporting a number of departments within the company. This includes providing admin support to the finance teams, particularly at busy periods such as month end, co-ordinating with suppliers and customers and managing the reception area. You will also support project teams in their operational needs as well as assist in some facilities management.
The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic and fast paced environment, gaining experience in a number of business areas. Working within a team there is a support network as well as broad training available to allow you to achieve your professional development goals, while putting learning into practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Some Facilities Management (recording of fuel consumption, fuel card management and credit card spend recording.
- Book keeping entries when required.
- Managing company correspondence, including phone calls, letters and packages.
- Creating travel itineraries for business managers, project managers, employees and company events.
- Fleet records management (scheduling MOT/Vehicle maintenance and TAX) as well as recording vehicle mileage.
- Managing the reception area, including welcoming customers, vendors and visitors.
- Organising meeting refreshments when required teas, coffees, lunches etc.
- Completion of routine compliance tasks (eg scheduling fire alarm tests, scheduling calibration tests, etc)
The Candidate
What we need from you:
- You will be a dynamic and proactive team player, who strives to deliver a high level of customer service to business stakeholders.
- You will be polite, confident and well presented, as you will often be the first contact for customers, vendors and visitors to our business.
- You will have strong interpersonal, written and communication skills as well as a thirst for knowledge, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ideally you will be qualified to Higher Grade English/Maths or above as a minimum, with candidates with qualification or experience in accounts or book-keeping at an advantage, as some ERP system input may be required during busy periods and holidays.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is essential.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
It would be advantageous to have:
- Accounts or Book-keeping experience as some data input into SAP may be required during busy periods and holidays
