ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - BUDE PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL
Grade: 3, scp 3-5
Salary: £20,812 - £21,575 Full-time equivalent, £17,458 - £18,098
Hours of work: 37hrs/week,
Monday - Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 4pm (30mins unpaid lunch)
Contract: Maternity – Fixed term until May 2024, Term time only (190 days)
Start date: September 2023
We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a skilled Administration Assistant to join our wonderful team. Having experience in all aspects of administrative duties you will be able to contribute to the development of the school’s administration, financial and support services, and be the first point of call for our parents/visitors on Reception.
Bude Park Primary is a small school in the north of Hull with places for 306 pupils aged 3-11. We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school and pride ourselves on providing a safe, caring environment where every child is given the confidence to achieve their full potential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Provide all aspects of the school’s administrative, financial and support services with a focus on attendance.
· Deal with reception visitors
· Assist with managing and maintaining manual and computerised records
· Organise school trips/events
· Undertake typing and IT based tasks e.g. ScholarPack input / updating online sites
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
· GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
· Training in IT based systems e.g. Microsoft Package, Sage
· Experience using ScholarPack or SIMS
· Experience of communicating with the public and outside agencies
· Experience of producing / maintaining / evaluating data
