Job Description:
● To answer incoming calls, both internal and external, redirecting/taking messages as necessary, and acting on instructions received.
● To relay messages to staff and pupils and families in a clear and timely manner. Responding to emails and drafting letters.
● To receive all visitors and ensure they sign in and out in accordance with the school’s procedures.
● To deal with general day to day queries from staff, pupils, families and other visitors to the school.
● To provide First Aid cover in the absence of other First Aiders.
● To build and maintain positive relationships with other colleagues and be a part of a team.
● To assist with the preparation, distribution and collation of checklists for school meals numbers, and liaise with school catering staff on a daily basis.
● To be able to deal with inquiries from families and other stakeholders, resolve them appropriately, make effective decisions using good judgement skills.
● To assist with the organisation of school trips/ workshops, including booking coaches, TfL and venues and support the class teacher on trips/workshops as and when required.
● Understanding the school policies and procedures including GDPR and Health and Safety regulations.
● To assist with the maintenance of the computerised attendance/absence register including calling families of non-attenders that have failed to notify the school.
● To assist with maintaining records of all pupils’ changes of details e.g. addresses, telephone numbers.
● To assist with ordering and maintaining stock of all school resources.
● To undertake photocopying, filing and general office duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Salary: £5.28 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Twickenham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
