Job description
The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective administrative service is provided to the Services within the South Locality. This will include line management of staff, including conducting appraisals, managing sickness and ensuring deadlines are met. The post-holder will be required to implement policies and procedures in their own area, communicate effectively and act independently. The post-holder will be expected to exercise their own judgement through experience and troubleshoot only flagging up matters outside of their remit. Provide administration support to the Community Service Leads and Matrons and providing support with issues of a complex and sensitive nature.
To undertake any other duties which is deemed appropriate to the band when requested by Senior Staff.
The above indicates the main duties of the post which may be reviewed in the light of experience and developments within the locality. Any review will be undertaken in conjunction with the post-holder.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated admin team lead to join our Neighbourhood Admin and Specialist Services, based at various sites within the South Locality.
The post is predominantly Mon to Fri between the hours of 8am to 4pm which can be flexible.
As Team Lead, you will be responsible for the line management of the admin teams within Neighbourhood Admin and Specialist Services, to include appraisals, managing sickness and ensuring deadlines are met.
You must be hard working, possess good oral and written communication skills, have good computer skills and be flexible to the needs of the service. Previous clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, would be desirable.
