Admin Support Post - Band 3
37.5 hours per week

We have a exciting opportunity to recruit a Band 3 within the Wheelchair Service , Admin Support, Out of Hospital Team.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to support the administration function within our Wheelchair Service at Newfield House

The successful candidates will provide an efficient and comprehensive administration service to support the wide range of clinicians within the teams. We are looking for individuals with a positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care. They will work within a busy integrated and skill mixed Admin Team. They will need to be confident and empathetic in dealing with sensitive telephone calls and complaints, with an excellent telephone manner. The ability to work well as part of team is vital in this role as we rely on each other for support with work load and guidance with sensitive patient queries.

We are looking for individuals with a positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care. You must be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work. The essential requirements of this post are good telephone manner, high level communication skills, typing letters and attention to detail. You will have good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We have a full electronic patient record system which is central to our work, so accurate record keeping is critical and you must be able to concentrate in a busy working environment.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level with an administration NVQ or QCF or equivalent experience. Excellent IT skills are essential, with experience of Word processing, excel data entry, email and audio typing. Previous experience of working within a health care setting would be desirable.
