Admin Support Assistant
Parental Education Growth Support (PEGS) is a social enterprise working to reduce the individual and societal impact of Child to Parent Abuse (CPA). The organisation has four main aims: supporting parents, training professionals, raising awareness, and influencing policy.
PEGS specifically supports parents, carers and guardians impacted by CPA (thought to be at least 3% of UK households) and does not work directly with the child, although we do refer to many other organisations to ensure the child is also receiving appropriate support.
There are currently more than 800 parents on our closed Facebook peer support group, with multiple virtual drop-in sessions run each week (facilitated by a member of staff), plus one-to-one sessions, advocacy, and regular workshops and programmes including EPIC – our bespoke programme focusing on empowerment, safety, coping techniques and confidence.
Our core values centre on creating safe spaces for parents to be able to share their experiences, supporting anyone no matter the age of their child (including adult offspring), and ensuring parent services remain free for anyone using them so there are no financial barriers to access help.
We’re looking to appoint 1x Part Time Admin support on a 20 hour per week (10am until 2pm), 12 month fixed term contract to carry out a variety of administrative duties for PEGS, whilst upholding PEGS’ ethos and values at all times.

- Monitoring and engaging with Live Chat - for parents and professionals

- Data entry activity, including the updating of records and databases
- Working alongside the admin manager
- To carry out any other reasonable task as requested

Monday to Friday 10am until 2pm*
* Hours of work can be discussed with the right candidate.
