An opportunity has arisen to work alongside our fantastic Warehouse team, within a family business setting. Responsible for admin, picking and packing orders, and assisting with processing stock deliveries, our warehouse operatives are a vital part of our business. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive working atmosphere, with a passion for working in a team in order to achieve deadlines.The role will involve all normal elements of warehouse work with primary duties to pick and pack customer orders and replenish stock as required.Experience of warehouse work and a willingness to learn are expected. An understanding of health and safety basics and using warehousing/inventory would be advantageous.The successful candidate will be able to work at pace to ensure we meet operational targets so we deliver a great service to our customers.This is a 16.5 hours per week contract working the hours across Monday to Friday. 2 Candidates required, Core hours in the week are 11.00am to 5.00pm however please note that flexibility may be required to work additional or altered hours during peak times of business.Key responsibilities:Assisting with general admin duties as requiredPicking and packing customer orders to productivity targetsAssisting with processing deliveries alongside the Goods-In SupervisorAssisting the Returns Department with locating returns back into the warehouseEnsuring the warehouse boxes that hold the stock remain tidy at all timesAny other duties commensurate with the postSkills and qualifications:Strong attention to detailThe ability to prioritise your workload and forward plan to meet deadlines.Great communication skills, both written and verbal.Physically able to lift boxes in a warehouse environmentAbility to accurately read and understand informationAn enthusiastic personality is essential in order to fit in with our teamAble to effectively work to productivity targetsPunctuality to each shift is essentialPrevious experience in a warehouse setting is essentialGood computer literacy and previous experience with a warehouse management system are essentialHonesty and trustworthiness are vital traits that each member of our warehouse team must come equipped withExcellent organisation skills are essentialThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essentialYou will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse / loading bays clean and tidyYou will be joining a friendly hard working team and though the role will start as a temporary position it will become permanent after a satisfactory probationary period.Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 16.5 per weekSalary: £10.50-£11.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate: Bradford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
