Open 7 days from 8.30pm to 6pm. No late nights! Salary dependent on experience.
There is a varied shift pattern available with this role, an early start would be 7am/7.30am and finished for 5.30/6pm with one day available as only a 5 hour shift to make the required 45 hours.
We are Down The Hatch, an authentic Canadian diner focusing on fresh diner style food with a locally sourced twist, big flavours, huge portions and all things Canadian! We focus on huge portions, dirty burgers, loaded fries, wings to mention a few and daily specials that all chefs can get involved with.
Starting pay is from £10.50 plus an equal share of tips with 100% of the tips going to the team. Pay is bi-weekly.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support the Head Chef in a hands on capacity.
- Maintain & enhance Food Standards on a daily basis.
- Ensure excellent standards including compliance with all HACCP responsibilities.
- Be part of the team creating our daily specials and menu development.
- Being solution focused and solving issues that arise day to day with help from senior management.
