The Team
The HR Department is a key function within Nissan Sunderland Plant - working diligently to attract, develop and engage a workforce with the correct skills, leadership, and tools to continue our world-class operations. Our HR Engagement team are responsible for administrating our annual employee survey – and using data gathered to inform improvements to the employee journey. Joining us as an Administrative Officer in the HR Engagement team, you’ll be instrumental in the delivery of a range of initiatives designed to enhance the experience of our employees.
The Role
Working on this fast-paced team as Admin Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across a range of Engagement and Performance Management activities.
You will be responsible for delivering administrative duties to a high standard, including managing budgets and invoices, managing diaries, organising meetings/events, and providing accurate reports in a timely manner.
In this role you will also oversee the delivery of projects from end-end, including the distribution of our employee benefits, like Vouchers and Christmas Gift.
In this rewarding role, you will receive exposure to all levels of the of the business and support positive change in strategies linked to health and wellbeing, engagement, and DE&I.
You will be required to respond flexibly to ad-hoc requests, and in a timely manner to general HR queries.
Outline and Responsibilities:
Budget management and invoice processing
Managing diaries and organising meetings and events
Supporting the delivery of the plant-wide Health and Wellbeing strategy
Supporting analysis of Global Employee Survey data
Providing accurate reports in a timely manner
Performing administrative duties to support the Engagement strategy, Performance Management process & any other ad-hoc projects
Managing the Plant’s Reward and Recognition (R&R) scheme, and distribution of other employee benefits (Christmas gift, 25 years’ service)
Personal Assistant responsibilities to the HR Director
Performing ad-hoc duties as required
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Demonstrable ability to use Microsoft Applications (particularly Excel & PowerPoint)
Experience managing budgets and controlling costs
Discretion managing confidential data
Experience managing diaries and organising meetings & events
An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A proactive, energised and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Flexibility to support ad-hoc requests
Ability to respond and react to change
Previous administrative experience valuable
Exposure to HR systems beneficial, but not essential (E.g. Workday)
