The following posts has become available within the Medway Community Mental Health Team for a dynamic, self motivated Admin Assistant/Receptionist.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English and NVQ Level 2/RSA 2 or equivalent. You will need to possess strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, good organisational and keyboard skills and reception experience. Some experience in clinical or document typing would be an advantage.
You will also need experience of Microsoft Office packages and be able to stay calm and professional when faced with changing or challenging situations.
Training will be given where necessary for patient-based systems.
This is a varied role but the main part will be working in reception. You will be:
- Meeting and greeting visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner that enter the building.
- Answering calls and enquiries from clients, carers and external agencies.
- Entering new referrals onto the system, training will be provided for this.
- Using MICAD which is a room booking system.
- Assisting the Administrators when required.

- Daily opening of the post, date stamping and distributing.
- Data entry into Rio of clients details and opening of the new referrals.
- Photocopying.
- Will be processing confidential information.
