We are looking for an enthusiastic admin assistant to join our Trade Marks team in Leeds to assist with the smooth running of trade mark applications.
You will receive dedicated training to help you understand the IP world and in particular trade marks along with in-depth training on your role. You will also have access to procedure guides and ‘how to’ documents for reference. An eye for detail, accuracy and excellent organisational skills are imperative in this extremely busy role.
Key Responsibilities
- Uploading correspondence to our internal document management system
- Preparing standard reports and invoices for clients
- Sending out hard copy correspondence using recorded delivery/DHL
- Photocopying and scanning as required
- Answering incoming calls and taking messages where necessary
- Meeting and greeting in reception for visitors and other visiting Appleyard Lees employees
- Providing tea/coffee/refreshments and checking that meeting rooms are tidy
- Preparing hard copy files for archiving
- Ad hoc office administration including ordering stationery
About You
- An ability to demonstrate an aptitude for working with complex procedures and deadlines
- Ability to work consistently to very high standards
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus and great attention to detail
- Ability to work meticulously and efficiently whilst managing a number of tasks
- Good typing skills is essential
- Good computer and IT skills essential
