We have a vacancy for an admin assistant (entry level), with career development opportunities to work in our head office in Sheffield. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator and have good organisational skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • answering telephone calls promptly and efficiently, taking messages and arranging appointments as needed;
  • assisting with booking travel, trains and hotel reservations;
  • ensuring the firm's client and business development databases are kept fully up to date;
  • greeting clients and visitors and preparing refreshments as required for meetings;
  • liaising with third-party providers;
  • undertaking a range of general office and administrative duties to include, but not limited to, filing, scanning, archiving, dealing with post, delivering documents to clients/third parties, maintaining stationery and refreshments stocks, etc.
  • assisting colleagues and directors as needed.

Essential skills and experience:

  • hard-working with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
  • excellent written and verbal communication;
  • a good team player who can also work under own initiative;
  • competent IT skills including the use of MS Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
  • a desire to learn and develop with a friendly approachable manner and a 'can do' attitude.

Hours of work Monday to Friday (09.00 - 17.00)

Salary: £16,000
Start date: Immediate
