We are seeking to appoint a reliable, highly organised and motivated Admin Assistant to work within our school team. You will need a friendly disposition, have a flexible approach and be able to work under pressure, have strong proven communication and administration skills.
This role brings together so many aspects of our school environment, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day life of the school by providing a wide range of administrative support to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
You will:-
Be the main point of contact for visitors to the school..
Undertake reception duties, answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
Manage pupil first aid/welfare duties.
Assist with arrangements for visits from external visitors/stakeholders.
Provide clerical/administrative support.
Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems.
Place and process purchase orders via the finance system.
Monitor and review the cash management system..
Collate and manage correspondence for trips.
Manage the administration of after school clubs.
Update pupil and parent Information on to the Management Information System.
Receive and record income relating to pupil dinners.
Typing and distribution of correspondence to various stakeholders.
Manage the school website by uploading any correspondence for
parents/carers and updating the school calender etc.
Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages, eg Word, Excel, MIS and
finance/purchase order system.
Maintain stock and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required.
