We continue to grow our online community of high-quality practitioners who are available over a highly secure video consulting platform. We are working to ensure that it is easy and safe for all generations to access the best neurodevelopmental and mental health services as and when they need it.
Our team across mental health and neurodevelopment is made up of a unique combination of expert mental health counsellors, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, skilled managers, and IT specialists. We are continuously developing our e-health platform to ensure better and more accessible services to those in need.
We are looking for an ADHD team coordinator to help assess (and treat) Adults and Children who have been referred by their University, Health Insurer or the NHS for ADHD.
ProblemShared takes a person-centered approach to these assessments and is building a team of experts who believe in providing gold-standard assessments which focus on both strengths and challenges and provide the client with truly useful/ actionable support.
You will report to, and work very closely with, the ADHD Clinical Lead and ADHD Prescribing Lead, and will have as direct reports a group of ADHD Assessors. As Team Lead, you will be central to ensuring your team are motivated and that they deliver high-quality, efficient assessments that are person-centered and gold-standard.
The right candidate will have extensive clinical experience working with ADHD and experience of leadership. You will be flexible and proactive. Whilst a team player with excellent communication skills, you will also need to be assertive. You will be inspiring and organized, and will view the role not as a job, but rather as a vocation.
Main Responsibilities
- Reporting to, and close liaison with, the ADHD Clinical Lead & Prescribing Lead
- Supervision and Line management of up to 8 assessors/prescribers
- Managing and supporting clinicians with report writing standards
- MDTs
- First point of call for escalation
- 1 clinical assessment session per week or a small prescribing case load
- Responsible for quality of reports
- Ensuring reports are QC’d efficiently and in a timely fashion
- Clinical inductions of new starters (fortnightly)
- Interviewing new candidates
- Personal Development/ training/ meetings
- Line managing 8 FTEs
- Coordinating team meetings and agendas
- Safeguarding point of contact
- Responsible for ensuring clinical values / consistency across ADHD service
- Ad Hoc queries and support
Salary: £62.5k
Further Information
ProblemShared is a remote business, and we have no central office. As a result, the team all work from home (or other suitable locations) so you will need to be comfortable with this as a working environment – and have a reliable internet connection. We have a lot to achieve to deliver a truly excellent proposition for our community of professionals and their clients and so the successful new team members need to be highly motivated self-starters.
