The Role

Our client, 14 Day Manicure, is looking for a dynamic and hands-on eCommerce Manager with a strategic, commercial awareness and proven experience in managing and growing an eCommerce platform.

Reporting directly into the MD, you will manage the company websites, and take accountability for sales, ensuring continued growth. This will be achieved partly through keeping our current database engaged with content that will drive customers to purchase, but also working closely with the Marketing team to drive brand awareness and new customer acquisition.

In this role, you must be prepared to get involved with various parts of the business and be adaptive to change, you will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to be proactive with minimal direction.

As a growing brand in new territories with distribution solely through our e-commerce store, we are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, growing the platform to its full potential by managing both the day-to-day trading of the site and the upcoming phases of upgrades that are scheduled throughout the year (e.g. launching a loyalty program) as well as potential territory launches.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and achieving 14 Day direct website revenue targets, ensuring there is significant YoY growth and monthly targets are met
  • Team management: ability to recruit ad manage growth in e-commerce team when the time comes
  • Weekly top-line reporting of KPIs to management team and monthly in-depth reporting to brand owner and MD
  • Setting expenditure budget for the 14 Day direct website across all areas of digital marketing and investment in new tools and equipment to drive sales.
  • Experience building and optimizing a best-in-class CRM program, building emails each week on Klavio and launching SMS messaging
  • Work with our agency to optimize the customer journey based on analytical data and ensure it is in-line with brand guidelines and UX best practice.
  • Strong use of evidence-driven analytics to influence future trading decisions both on-site and in emails.
  • Management of contracted Paid Search & Paid Social agencies and setting strategy of targeting campaigns, constantly reviewing performance
  • Management of our affiliate agency, reviewing and driving performance
  • Management of our SEO agency
  • Work closely with Marketing team to manage digital marketing campaigns to build brand awareness with new customers and encourage repurchase with existing.
  • Create an e-commerce trading calendar to include email campaigns, brand collaborations, GWPs, online collections and special offers.
  • Work with Operations Manager to ensure stock holdings are in place for the website and manage uploading stock to website

Skills

  • 5 years' + experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing all elements of an eCommerce platform
  • Email campaign management and full CRM review– ideally with Klavio
  • Eternal agency management, including PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Affiliates, Web Developers and Designers.
  • High Understanding of all paid-for search marketing tools ad their metrics ad budgets: Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook & Instagram performance marketing.
  • In depth comprehension of Google Analytics and experience in using the data to come up with action plans based on consumer behaviour, with the goal of driving KPIs.
  • Knowledge and experience working with payment gateways ideally Global Payments and PayPal.
  • Basic HTML skills required. CSS and basic Photoshop are desirable.
  • Creation and execution of campaign concepts for digital marketing calendars.
  • Ability to adapt ideas and concepts to specific brand guidelines while remaining open to feedback.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with agile project management desirable.
  • Experience with beauty brands a bonus
  • Experience with Amazon a bonus
  • Experience with multi territories i.e. EU, UK, USA a bonus
  • Ideally has been in a start-up environment and has proven ability to hit the ground and tackle any teething issues with prove growth in ecommerce site performance
  • Must be happy to travel to London at least 1/2 a month to Parsons Green office.
