Our clients range from home owners buying fencing for their gardens to Industry and High Security establishments, protecting facilities and equipment. We currently seek a hard working professional to join and support our existing Acoustic sales team based in Ashford.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commission hungry sales person to join an over achieving and rapidly growing team within our commercial sales department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Hybrid home / office based salesperson with the ability to influence sales growth in Jacksons Fencing Commercial Sales Department.

The role will predominantly be to, once trained on acoustic barrier fencing and gates on offer, produce full and complete quotations from Tender enquiries received into the department by ensuring all requirements of the tender submission have been completed incl Bill of Quantities, Submission Forms etc.

The sales exec will also be responsible for managing and maintaining their own pipeline of enquiry's, conducting scheduled follow-ups on outstanding quotations, forming good working relationships with repeat customers and closing out sales.

The role requires good attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with persistence and resilience are key success drivers. An ability to think quickly and clearly will be required.

A good all round education and strong computer skills are crucial to carrying out duties efficiently and effectively; previous business to business sales experience is a must, a construction, estimating or sales background would be desirable. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Hours of work to be 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour lunch break.

Initially the role will be office based whilst training is undertaken, once competent with our products and systems the role will transition to a hybrid position with home working.

We are offering a competitive basic salary and a generous uncapped commission structure.

Duties

Duties will include:

·Respond to all Customer enquires and complete tenders for prospective clients.
·Regularly receive and make calls to increase sales enquiry and sales opportunities.
·Maintain the ECRM customer database.

·Form relationships with prospective and repeat customers.
·Process quotations to orders.

·Work with other internal departments to achieve customers expectations.
·Perform other duties as reasonably requested by your manager, from time to time.
