We are seeking a highly motivated, student-focused, Achievement Mentor to work with a caseload of students to provide timetable targeted intervention to support the retention and progression of those who are at risk of non-completion. You will also deliver a relevant coaching programme to a cohort of students and work closely with departments within college and external agencies to ensure students have access to all the support they may need to ensure they achieve.
You should be qualified to Level 2 or above in English and Maths, and have experience of working with young people in a supportive environment. We are especially interested in applicants who have experience of utilising positive behaviour strategies, ideally within a youth work environment. Most importantly, we are looking for applicants with a ‘can do’ attitude and a clear commitment to support our learners to achieve.
