What you will be doing :
The incumbent will be responsible to provide financial support by efficiently managing client and intercompany billing processes, while also overseeing the Work in Progress (WIP) for entities across Europe and America. In addition, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders to proactively resolve any concerns or challenges related to the processing of accounts receivables.
- Collaborating closely with project and country managers to monitor the financial aspects of ongoing projects. This involves actively liaising with them to obtain regular updates on the status of their project Work in Progress (WIP) for accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Follow-ups with employees to ensure the prompt submission and approval of timesheets.
- Assisting in the production of cash flow forecasting.
- Responsible for completing payment applications for OWC projects as applicable, ensuring compliance with relevant financial guidelines.
- Flexibility in contributing to various ad hoc financial tasks as required. The ability to adapt and provide support in diverse financial areas will be an asset to the team.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role is well-organized and demonstrates a responsible attitude towards work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. you should have enthusiasm for learning, multi-tasking and be dedicated to delivering top-notch work.
In addition, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales ledger within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) finance environment.
- Qualified with A-Level standard or equivalent. Hold 5 GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Possesses excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and interact with colleagues and clients.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English. Additional languages are plus.
- Exhibits excellent telephone manners and interpersonal skills, providing a positive and professional experience to the stakeholders and clients over the phone.
