Job Title: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
Shift Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 AM, MONDAY through FRIDAY
Starting Rate: $26.95 PER HOUR
$56,066.64 ANNUAL

JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for maintaining complete accounts receivable records, end-of-month statements, and posting information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The following duties are typical for this position. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
- Maintain accounts receivable ledgers.
- Work with Authority customers to generate invoices and process payments.
- Review leases and contracts for key terms and conditions.
- Prepare statistical reports of operations by airlines and other tenants.
- Assist in preparation of required financial statements.
- Adhere to all Authority personnel policies and departmental guidelines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned and directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The following generally describes the knowledge, skills and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to organize work and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting.
- Understanding of internal controls related to revenue processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and time-management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of experience related to accounts receivable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central a plus.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge as may be required by assigned job duties and responsibilities.
