Position: Regional Operations Support Manager
Contract Type: 12 Month FTC (Full-Time)
Customer: HM Prison and Probation Service
Location: Regional - Central Region (Midlands area)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days
PLEASE NOTE: The role involves working across a number of Prison sites. You will be required to under-go an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for the position.
HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner's lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- To provide operational support to the Prison warehouses where required
- To comply with all HMP processes with regards to the management and recording of prisoner activity
- To build and strengthen relationships with the local HMP teams and the HMPPS customer
- To Support the Head of Operations and Regional Managers in the delivery of projects
- To cover warehouse managers roles as appropriate
- To ensure that all KPI's and production requirements are achieved and exceeded.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous experience in Senior Warehouse Management
- A UK driving licence is essential for access to sites around the region
- IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
- A 21st manager with a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach
- Enhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role
