Job description

We are looking for a Finance Assistant – Accounts Receivable to join our committed and experienced Finance Team.

Your duties

You will:

  • Accurately enter data on to the College’s financial system and student database
  • Ensure that all invoicing, payments, journals, banking documents and other relevant documentation is entered on to the student ledger accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with purchase ledger and other sales ledger administration where required
  • Liaise with College staff and debtors on financial queries and enquiries

Person specification

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

  • Minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
  • Commitment to and evidence of CPD
  • Experience of working in a financial department
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Experience of inputting data
  • Excellent communication skills
